How a reading is made
Three steps, no black box — and three places where the method is approximate, stated plainly.
Where it is approximate. Solar-term boundaries are calculated from standard calendar dates, so a birthday sitting right on one can move the month pillar by about a day. A birth in the two hours spanning midnight is not split into early and late hour branches — the day pillar follows the calendar date you give us. And without a birth hour, the reading is built from three pillars instead of four, which is still your chart but slightly less precise.
What it cannot do. It will not name an event on a date. No method can, and anyone promising that is selling certainty they do not have. What it gives you is structure: which elements dominate, which one runs low, and how that tends to show up. The free test and the paid readings use the same chart and the same rules — the paid ones go deeper, they are not different.
What arrives, and when
Two delivery speeds. The difference is not quality — it is whether a person writes it or the system does.

The 48-hour clock starts when payment clears, not when you open the checkout. It is measured on our side and it is a promise, not an estimate: if a hand-written reading has not reached you by then, write to us and it is refunded in full.
What to check first. Spam folder, then search the sender address. Instant readings land within about a minute; if nothing has arrived after 10 minutes, contact us with the order number and it is re-sent by hand.
The written readings

1 · You pay, and you say what it should speak to. The box at checkout is not a formality — it is read before writing begins. A compatibility reading also needs your partner's name and date of birth at checkout, because two charts are required and asking later would eat into the delivery window.
2 · It is written, then sent. Delivered as writing in the email itself — no call to prepare for, no meeting to schedule, nothing to download. Yours to keep and re-read.
3 · If something is unclear, you get one question, not a guess. Rather than invent a detail about your situation, we email and ask.
4 · If it is late, it is refunded. Past 48 hours you may ask for a full refund, no discussion. If what you described is not something this reading can genuinely help with, we say so instead of writing something we do not stand behind.

Subscription — the terms in plain words
$1.00 for 7 days, then $19.90/month · or $199.00 for 12 months, no trial.
The trial is one week, not one month. $1.00 covers days 1–7. From day 8 it renews at $19.90 per month. Cancel before day 8 and you pay the $1.00 and nothing else. The annual plan has no trial: $199.00 is charged once today and covers twelve months.
Cancelling takes one click. Every email we send has an "Unsubscribe in one click" link. No form, no reason asked, no retention script. You get a written confirmation with the date it takes effect. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and the card is never charged again. You can also cancel from your member page, or in PayPal under Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments.
What arrives. One email every morning: the day's almanac and one draw. Plus the Reading Room, a growing library of long-form pieces, at no extra cost. The daily brief is the same for every reader on a given day — it is calculated from the calendar, not from your chart. Your own element profile stays alongside it on the member page.
If a charge fails. PayPal retries. If it stays unpaid the subscription is suspended, not silently cancelled, and it resumes by itself once the card is fixed.
Refunds
The short version, and the exact exceptions. Full legal wording is in the Refund Policy.
Automated readings are final. They are generated and delivered in full the moment payment is confirmed, so there is nothing to return. That is exactly why the free test exists, and why you are asked to confirm you understand this before paying.
Hand-written readings are final once work has begun — but a missed deadline is refunded in full, and so is anything we fail to deliver. You are never left paying for something that never arrived.
Subscriptions stop when you cancel. No pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period, but no further charges either.

The free test
- What is the Five Elements test?
- It reads the balance of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water in your birth data, and shows which element dominates you and which one you are running low on.
- Is the test really free?
- Yes. The test and your element breakdown are free and need no payment details. You only pay if you choose to go deeper with a full reading.
- How long does it take?
- About a minute. You enter your name, email, birth date and birth hour, and your element profile appears immediately.
- How is my Five Elements chart calculated?
- From your Four Pillars (BaZi) — the year, month, day and hour of your birth. The year begins at the start of spring rather than January 1, the month follows the twelve solar-term markers, and the day follows the continuous sixty-day cycle. Each of the four stems counts as a full point, while each branch contributes its hidden stems weighted as main, middle and residual (1, 0.5 and 0.25), with the month branch weighted 1.5 times. It is the same method used in your full reading.
- Why do you ask for my email?
- Your reading is delivered by email. We use it to send your result and, if you buy one, your full reading. We do not send spam.
The reading itself
- What exactly do I receive after buying a reading?
- A personalised reading generated from your birth data, delivered as a private web page plus an email copy. Blueprint covers the five-element map and a 30-day focus; Pattern adds the imbalance pattern, three life areas and a 90-day rhythm; Year Ahead is one complete report — the full Pattern Decoder, plus the twelve-month rhythm and decision windows on top. The hand-written readings are different: they arrive as writing in the email itself.
- How is this different from a horoscope app?
- A horoscope sorts you into twelve signs. This measures the ratio between all five elements in your own birth data — far more possible outcomes — and tracks how that ratio moves over time.
- What information do you need from me?
- Your name, email, and date of birth; the hour is optional but adds precision. For a two-chart compatibility reading, your partner's name and date of birth as well — asked for at checkout, not by email afterwards. Payment runs entirely through PayPal, so no card details reach our servers.
- Which reading should I choose?
- A baseline, first time understanding yourself → Energy Blueprint ($29). The same wall keeps coming back → Pattern Decoder ($199). You want the whole year mapped → Year Ahead ($499). You want all five areas of life written by hand → the Complete Reading ($4,999). One specific question, answered in depth → a single area ($799).
- How accurate is this reading?

- What if I don't know my birth hour?
- Then the reading is built from three pillars instead of four. It is still your chart, still useful, and slightly less precise — and the reading says so where it matters rather than pretending otherwise.
- Will it tell me a specific event on a specific date?
- No, and no method can. Anyone promising that is selling certainty they do not have. What a reading gives you is a structure: which elements are strong in you, which one is running low, and how that tends to show up over time. What you do with it stays yours.
- Why don't you use countdowns or "limited spots"?
- Because pressure is not information. The price is the price, the free test is genuinely enough to decide with, and nothing here is built to make you afraid enough to buy the next tier. If a reading is not right for you, the honest answer is that you should not buy it.
Delivery
- How and when will I receive it?
- Two speeds, and which one applies depends on what you bought. The three automated readings are generated the moment payment is confirmed and land in your inbox within about a minute, with a private link valid for 90 days. The hand-written readings — Complete Reading ($4,999), Compatibility ($1,299) and single-area consultations ($799) — are written for you and delivered by email within 48 hours of payment.
- What happens if a hand-written reading takes longer than 48 hours?
- That is our failure, not yours. Write to us and you get a full refund — a delay is the one case where "all sales final" does not apply, because you have not received what you paid for. We would rather refund than deliver something rushed.
- I did not receive the email. What now?
- ① Check your spam folder. ② Search for the sender address. ③ If it has still not arrived after 10 minutes (instant readings) or after the delivery window (hand-written ones), contact us with your order number and we will re-send it manually.
- How many times can I open the report link?
- Unlimited. The link stays valid for 90 days, so bookmark it or save a screenshot. If it expires, contact us and we will renew it free of charge.
- Can I read it on my phone?
- Yes. The reading is designed for mobile, and you can use your browser's Print → Save as PDF to keep a permanent copy.
- What if my reading looks wrong?
- First check that your birth details were entered correctly. If they were mistyped, contact us with the right details and we will regenerate the reading free of charge.
- What if the reading never arrives, or arrives broken?
- That is a delivery failure, not a change of mind — tell us and we will fix it or re-deliver it free of charge. If we cannot deliver at all, you get a full refund.
Payment and refunds
- Which payment methods do you accept?
- PayPal — which also accepts credit and debit cards, no PayPal account required. All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- Can I get a refund?
- Automated readings are generated and delivered in full the moment payment is confirmed, so they cannot be returned or revoked — all sales are final, which is why the free test exists. Hand-written readings are final once work has begun, but a missed delivery deadline is refunded in full. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to stop future charges. - Is this medical, psychological, legal or financial advice?
- No. Everything here is written for reflection and entertainment. It does not diagnose, treat or predict anything, and it is no substitute for a qualified professional. If you are dealing with a health, mental-health, legal or money problem, please speak to someone qualified.

- What do I actually get for $19.9 a month?
- Four things, every morning: the daily almanac, the element that governs the day and its guidance, the Book of Answers line, and unlimited access to the Reading Room. It arrives by email and on this site, without you having to come and look for it.
- How does the $1 trial work?
- $1 covers your first 7 days. From day 8 it renews at $19.90 per month unless you cancel. There is no second surprise charge and no hidden fee. If you cancel before day 8, you pay the $1 and nothing else. The annual plan has no trial: $199 is billed once today and covers 12 months.
- How do I cancel, and what happens when I do?
- Open any email from us — the welcome letter or any daily brief — and tap "Unsubscribe in one click". One tap, no form, no reason asked. You get a written confirmation with the date it takes effect, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and your card is then never charged again. You can also cancel from your member page, or from PayPal under Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments.
- I was charged because I missed the cancellation window. What now?
- Cancel as soon as you notice and no further charges are taken. That month has already been delivered, so it is not refundable — but nothing more will be billed. You can cancel in one click from any email or from your member page.
- How do I know the cancellation actually worked?
- It shows on your member page straight away. If you cancel by email we reply with a written confirmation and the date it takes effect. You can also check PayPal under Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments — the profile disappears once it is cancelled.
- Where do I read everything?
- Everything lives on one page: your member page at /daily.php — today's almanac, the Reading Room, and your subscription settings. Sign in with the email address you paid with and we send you a one-tap link, so there is no password to remember.
